Quick Machinery Company offers a line of high-quality, low-cost, simple-to-use Roller Coater Glue Spreaders. Our Glue Spreaders are available with either three rolls for top-only application, or with four rolls for top-and-bottom application (a four-roll Spreader can also be used for top-only or bottom-only application). QUICK Glue Spreaders feature grooved rubber-covered glue rolls that are acid and heat resistant and very durable. Smaller Spreaders (17" and 24" wide) have chrome-plated doctor rolls, and larger (36", 48", 54 and 63"" wide) have hardened rubber doctor rolls. Standard fixed feed rate is 80 feet per minute, with a variable feed rate of 40 to 118 feet per minute available as an option. All of our Spreaders feature safety bar emergency stop systems. Our most popular size Spreader is the 63" wide, 1.75" opening machine. It is commonly used for applying water-based adhesives to particleboard or MDF, in preparation for applying a high-pressure laminate to the substrate. It is commonly recommended by a well-known and well-respected U.S. manufacturer of post forming equipment for use with their laminating line. By popular demand, we have recently developed our new flagship machine, which is 63" wide, with 0" to 6" vertical opening.
