Quick, President, Quick Machinery Company Subject: Quick Machinery Company Signs Manufacturing & Distribution Agreement with Juan Nan Enterprises On April 29, 2001, Kevin Quick, president and owner of Quick Machinery Company of Kelseyville, CA and Chuan-Nan Wu, president of Juan Nan Enterprises of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, signed an agreement whereby Juan Nan Enterprises will manufacture a line of high-production edge-gluing equipment under the QUICK brand name, to be distributed exclusively by Quick Machinery Company in North America. The equipment, jointly engineered by Quick and Juan Nan, will include Clamp Carriers, Hydraulic large-panel presses and Conveyorized Glue Applicators. "We'll be bringing some interesting things to the U.S. market," says Quick. "Our customers can expect to see some very heavy-duty equipment, with high levels of design integration and aesthetic appeal. We'll have some features on our clamp carriers, such as corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated clamps, torque-limited hydraulic clamp tighteners and automatic carrier rotation cycles, that are unique to the industry."
